consistently great food with smile and family run business vibes. all carry out went up in price drastically since covid but apovini is not outrageous

This restaurant is such a staple in Troy. Family owed business that has been open over 20 + years. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and most everything is homemade. The staff is friendly and I always come here for a Greek Chicken Salad. The portion size is big and you will end up taking half home for later. The chicken is grilled is so juicy and the marinade and spices will leave you craving to come back for more. They also make their own dressing. You can order a side of pita bread for an additional charge.

My friend swears by their Greek salads, so we finally headed into Apovini Grill to try for myself. Staff are friendly and attentive. They were on it regarding filling up our drinks and checking if we needed anything else. The décor is a little outdated and tired looking. However, the place was clean and welcoming. Lots of options for food whether you are in the mood for breakfast or lunch/dinner. Ordered the chicken lemon rice soup and it was okay, I would've liked a little more lemon punch and flavor. Greek salad wise, you can order your salad to be chopped up for an extra $3.00 which is a little much? I also upgraded to chicken and the chicken was phenomenal. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a delicious marinate/seasoning. The Greek salad itself was delicious - tasted fresh and was very filling. I got the small and barely could finish it. Love the yummy pink Greek dressing and pita bread. This place is a little pricey but they do have a delicious Greek salad!

My wife and I used to live on the east side and we currently live in Ann Arbor. We were missing this place so we decided to take the back roads as a Saturday trip, First off the wait staff was so incredibly polite, caring and personable, they even gave us a free saganaki for making the trip. the food is just amazing here and I can't stress enough about how good their Greek pink sauce and grilled chicken are!!!! But the service was outstanding. We just love this place. Thank you to your staff for a great memory and experience.

Someone recommended we try this place. It is wonderful. We have never been disappointed. The staff has gone out of their way for us . I usually get the swordfish special . It's great ! The spinach pie was also good.

I love Apovini Grill! Their Greek salad is perfection, the dressing, the marinated chicken and the portion,small or large size, is generous. They also have flaming cheese, Opa! I'm a big fan of their fries as well. I can't speak for everything on the menu because I stick with my favorites but this place does business right. Bonus: the service is friendly and the bathrooms are CLEAN!
